About
In this session, participants go on a journey to better understand difference—and to learn how to celebrate it. We explore how curiosity can replace fear, and how getting to know others (and asking respectful questions) can build connection rather than division. Together, we challenge the habit of judging people without stopping to consider what life is like for them. We look at the role of history in shaping attitudes and beliefs, and how discrimination can become normalised over time. The session ends by encouraging honest reflection and challenged thinking—helping participants recognise the often hidden ways discrimination can show up in everyday life, and how it can contribute to harm in all its forms.
