MOVE for Women & Girls 'Full Course'

MOVE – From Surviving to Moving Forward A 6-Session Recovery Programme for Women and Girls This 6-session programme was created to support women and girls who are ready for the next stage after difficult or harmful experiences—learning how to move forward in a steady, realistic, and supported way. Originally developed in a live group setting, MOVE was designed for those who had already begun to understand what they had been through and wanted to go further—towards greater clarity, stability, and self-worth. Based on 12-step principles, this course offers a structured, self-development approach to recognising and changing patterns that can remain long after the original experiences have passed. This course is not therapy. It is built from lived experience and is designed to be worked through at your own pace. A key part of this programme is exploring how past experiences may have shaped the way you think, feel, and respond. This includes gently acknowledging where harm has occurred, without placing blame on yourself, and without allowing those experiences to define who you are today. Across six sessions, you will be guided to: Recognise patterns that may still be influencing your life Understand emotional responses with greater clarity Begin shifting from survival-based reactions to more grounded choices Develop a stronger sense of personal value and direction Take practical steps toward living differently While other programmes on this platform are open to everyone, this course has been intentionally created for women and girls, reflecting the group it was originally developed with and the shared experiences explored within it. You are encouraged to move through the sessions at your own pace, taking breaks where needed and seeking additional support if things feel overwhelming. This is not about rushing change or leaving the past behind. It is about learning how to move forward with greater awareness, responsibility, and self-respect—one step at a time.
